Bowsers Revenge Pt. 10

The voice of Snake over the speaker made Samus shudder in a small glimmer of Hope. RAY lowered its head and body to looked to her. Samus flipped her visor several times to get to X-Ray vision, and sure enough, Snake was sitting in the cockpit.

"I see you got your armor." he said

"Snake? Your alive?" she asked stunned near silent

"How can that be?" screeched Dark Zelda as she stepped out of the smoke

Both Samus and RAY looked to see her holding he light bow, and Bowser Prime arising from the crater in the platform it made.

"I can handle the big guy in this. You get Dark Zelda!" said Snake

"I can't hit her! Her shield absorbs power." said Samus

"Does it?" asked Snake

RAY reared back, and with a roar, opened its mouth and shot out a jet of water. Being that it was not power from a energy weapon or a rocket explosion, Zelda's shield began to falter as it tried to keep the heavy torrent of water out. It soon died as Zelda flew back as the last of the water dried up.

"Now?"

"Thanks' Snake." said Samus charging her cannon

Snake nodded in her direction and looked to the giant Bowser. RAY leaped into the air and did a back flip into the water as Bowser Prime started to get worried.

Samus charged at the wounded Dark Zelda, but before she could, she transformed into Sheik and  managed to dodge it. The glow of the Smasher ball was still glowing, but Sheik needed to aim the bow, and Samus was not allowing her to get that chance, even with Sheik's speed. Samus punched a hole into the airship, just missing Sheik, but it was a ruse. She chain grabbed Sheik and threw her across the airship. Along the way, Samus shot eight balls out of her arm cannon, three hitting Sheik. Sheik hit the ground, losing the smash ball power in the process, which went flying out farther than both of their sight. However, Samus waited too long, and Sheik was up, tossing hundreds of knives her way. Samus tried to dodge them, many glancing off her armor, but many more, with their speed thrown, managed to pierce the armor. Samus fell, both her Zero suit and Power suit healing her wounds. Samus fired a rocket at a advancing Sheik, Sheik missing but falling into the hole Samus had made. Upon seeing this, Samus was up at a instant, realizing the danger she put herself in, for now Sheik could strike anywhere.

Meanwhile, Bowser prime scanned the water below, trying to find RAY and Solid Snake. The dumb brute didn't know to switch through the visor's and just looked with eyes. It then heard a splashing of water behind it and turned to see RAY fire another volley of rockets, missiles, and machine guns, and a added water jet stream. The standard weapons did little but scuff the armor, the water jet Snake aimed for the weak spots in the armor, managing to actually damage it. Bowser, however, was not one to be beaten, and charged RAY. Snake, however, was a master of CQC, and moved his skills into the controls of RAY, swiping Bowser Prime's feet out from under him with RAY's tail. Bowser landed with a thud on his stomach, but withdrew into his Power suited shell and spun around fast, knocked RAY down as well. The platform the two titans were fighting on was near ready to fall as Bowser rose to his feat. It laughed manically as it started to charge its main cannon. Before it could fire, RAY fired several missiles at it. They failed to destroy the cannon, but did knock it off course, causing the giant ball to hit a airship watching in the sky above, destroying it. Bowser Prime roared in anger, only to receive a kick in the face by RAY, knocking the brute into the ocean. Snake stood RAY up and jumped in after it.

Samus looked around, not knowing where Sheik would strike. The entire lower deck was a attack point, and Sheik could only hold her breath for so long. Then, there was a burst from below and Samus turned and charged her Arm Cannon. As she waited for a clear shot against Sheik or Zelda, a second burst came from behind. Samus turned to see Zelda for just a few seconds; and she was hit with burst of magical electricity. After being in the pain for a few seconds, was sent across the airship and slammed into the mast, brining it down, but Samus was not out. Using the mast as a distraction, she fired multiple minor Arm cannon blasts at Zelda, who didn't see them coming. By the time Zelda did, she was mid transformation into Sheik and was hit dozens of times as Samus continued to fire. With one final shot, Samus charged her Arm Cannon all the way up and fired. The giant ball hit the transforming Zelda/Sheik and sent her flying across the airship, slamming into the back of the Airship. Samus was slow to move forward, as her HUD read a large power coming from Zelda/Sheik. There was still smoke coming from the transformation spell, as well as the excess coming from the blast. Samus encountered the Dark Clone, and was sickened at the sight. The Dark clone was slowly shifting between Zelda and Sheik in a purple morph, the spell gone haywire. Had this been the real Zelda, the spell would have been canceled out, but this was not Zelda, and before Samus's eyes, the morphing stopped in a combination of both Zelda and Sheik. Samus watched as the thing raised its hand, and hundreds of needles charged with Zelda's magic shot out at her.

Underwater, Snake was pushing RAY to its limits trying to keep up with the Bowser. Fighting in a 360 degree environment where RAY's rockets, machineguns, and missiles were of little use, and the water jet cutter's power drastically lowered, was not what Snake originally intended. However, Snake did have one advantage over the Bowser, his speed and maneuverability. Bowser prime fired an arm cannon blast, but Snake easily avoided it and fired the water jet at a range he was less than comfortable at being. with the pump working at the same time, he fired a continuous stream of water at the Bowser, but Bowser managed to get a weak Arm cannon blast out, and hit RAY in the left "wing". systems started failing as Snake recalled all that Otacon had told him about on RAY's systems. Working furiously, he barely had time to notice Bowser Prime closing the distance. With the "wing" still damaged, but slowly coming under control, Snake made a desperate bid and launched two cluster bombs at the beast. They did little more than make a bubble screen between him and the armored Bowser at first. Snake held his breath as the sensors  as it was going too fast to stop.  Just as the "Wing" came back online, Bowser Prime appeared, tumbling through the water out of control.

No matter what Samus did, she could not keep up with this Zelda/Sheik creation. She could only dodge, avoid, and hide as the thing floated in midair firing magic needles and Din's fire added in with a chain. Samus ducked behind a mast, faked running out one way, turned the other way and fired a cannon shot. Zelda/Sheik missed it with superior speed, but was caught off guard and burnt as Samus lit the being on fire. She landed as it screamed in a horrific mixture of both Zelda's and Sheik's voice. Samus, unnerved, didn't lose focus, and fired three medium Arm cannon blasts and a missile. The first two blasts missed due to Samus rapid firing, while the last one, and the rocket hit. Samus smiled as the creation until a rumbling and splintering of wood was heard from down below. As Zelda/Sheik recovered, a jet blast of water tore through the Airship as RAY emerged out of the water into the air. Bowser Prime was right behind the Meat Gear, firing Phazon breath. It missed, and Snake fired every missile and rocket out of Ray that he could and the last of his water jet cutter. Most hit the Armor of the Bowser, causing scratches, dents, and even a few cracks in the armor where the water jet hit. A few rockets missed, and headed right for the Airship and the platform Bowser Prime was originally on, destroying what was left of the ship and shattering the platform.

Samus watched as Snake dove back in the water to try and refill the water tanks, and stupidly followed by Bowser Prime. However, her speciation was short lived as Zelda/Sheik was now directing several Bullet Bills and Koopa Paratroopa's down at Samus, one big mistake. Samus used her chain to redirect the Bullet bills into Koopa's, used the shells against the Zelda/Sheik creation, and then tossed what was left at the Airship fleet. At the same time, the disfigured Dark Clone moved in to try and finish off Samus, but failed at every attempt. Samus was used to fights like these, jumping from platform to platform, something the abomination was not. Aside from dodging shots and firing her own now, she laid traps for Zelda/Sheik by taking out platforms the thing was going to land on, and then firing whatever the Bounty Hunter could at it until the horror recovered. Yet, it would not stop, and kept coming, and Samus was slowly running out of room. Landing on a larger platform, she squared off against the Clone, exchanging blasts of technology magic, blows of speed and power, and exchanges of their skills. However, Samus got a lucky strike against Zelda/Sheik by charging her Arm cannon up and holding it while engaging in a melee fight. When Zelda/Sheik moved back to charge up a shot, Samus fired. The Horror was caught severely off their guard, and knocked into the water. Scanning the water for it, Samus spotted Snake and RAY fighting against Bowser Prime. He was in the exact same position she was in metaphorically. Each blow Bowser Prime made he matched, and each attack he made Bowser Prime either absorbed or it had no effect. Using her suit, she contacted the mercenary.

"Snake! Trade you!" she said

"What? RAY's mine!" said a confused Snake

"No, adversaries!" she yelled

"…Ok." said Snake

Samus dove in the water just as Zelda Sheik was coming out. The mixture was about to fire several magic blasts at Samus when it heard a large splash and metallic roar from behind her. She looked to see RAY standing there on what was left of the platform, staring her down. Zelda/Sheik looked on in puzzled amazement as RAY opened it's mouth.

"Metal Gear." said Snake smiling

Samus witnessed a high speed torrent of water with several hundred Shadow bugs spinning around it as it went down to the bottom of the ocean. Her attention soon turned to the Giant Bowser approaching her. She swam past it, firing a few shots at him, which did little, but one hit where Snake had hit the back, causing a bright fiery glow to come from it. Knowing what it was, She charged up her arm cannon and waited.  Bowser Prime swam at her again at high speed, but she dodged it. She aimed for the back if its armor and fired before chain grabbing it. She was pulled along in Bowser Prime's wake as it tried to find her as RAY was gone. Samus, however, pulled herself to its back and found the power core: a series of Smash balls. Charging her Arm cannon, she fired in, smashing one and dispersing several others. The power of her Zero laser surged through her armor and Samus waited for Bowser to turn around and face it. When he finally did, she fired. The giant blue laser caused the water to burn and glow as Bowser prime's already damaged armor and fell off. The remainder of the Bowser Prime reverted back into a regular Dark Bowser, and was turned back into several hundreds of Shadow bugs that sank into the ocean.

As her armor fell off, she took her last breath and swam for the surface. She reached it after a minute and gasped for breath. Snake was using RAY to blast a few retreating Airships out of the sky with missiles and the water jet. Samus spotted a more armored one holding something under it, but it was too far away to get a good shot. Instead she climbed onto a piece of wood as RAY turned around to face her. The head of the Metal gear opened, revealing Snake smiling in it. Samus laughed a little to herself and gave him a thumbs up.
